காலம் கருதி இருப்பர் கலங்காதுஞாலம் கருது பவர்.

Who think the pendant world itself to subjugate,With mind unruffled for the fitting time must wait

எளிய பொருள்

உலகத்தைக் கொள்ளக் கருதிகின்றவர் அதைப்பற்றி எண்ணிக் கலங்காமல் அதற்கு ஏற்ற காலத்தைக் கருதிக்கொண்டு பொறுத்திருப்பர்.

They who thoughtfully consider and wait for the (right) time (for action), may successfully meditate (the conquest of) the world.
