இகழ்ந்தெள்ளாது ஈவாரைக் காணின் மகிழ்ந்துள்ளம்உள்ளுள் உவப்பது உடைத்து.

If men are found who give and no harsh words of scorn employ,The minds of askers, through and through, will thrill with joy

எளிய பொருள்

இகழ்ந்து எள்ளாமல் பொருள் கொடுப்பவரைக் கண்டால், இரப்பவரின் உள்ளம் மகிழ்ந்து உள்ளுக்குள்ளே உவகை அடையும் தன்மையுடையதாகும்.

Beggars rejoice exceedingly when they behold those who bestow (their alms) with kindness and courtesy.
